Sarasota had everything working on Saturday, winning big over Buchholz 16-2. Sarasota opened up scoring in the first inning, when Kyle Manitz singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Sarasota put up six runs in the third inning. Sarasota's big bats were led by Satchell Norman, Conner Whittaker, Mario Trivella, and Chris Soeder, all driving in runs in the frame. Bradley Ramsden pitched Sarasota to victory. The pitcher surrendered two runs on one hit over three innings. Manitz and Bradon Jung entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Caden Kresak took the loss for Buchholz. Kresak surrendered ten runs on ten hits over one inning, walking one. Sarasota totaled 20 hits. Jaxson Crump threw a gem on Friday for Sarasota allowing zero runs and besting Bishop Kenny by a score of 3-0. The pitching was strong on both sides. Crump struck out five, while Garrett Corbett sat down zero. A double by Andrew Tabor in the seventh inning was a positive for Bishop Kenny. Crump got the win for Sarasota. The righthander lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero. Corbett took the loss for Bishop Kenny. The hurler lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and three runs. Danny Torrealba went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Sarasota in hits. Ryan Swartz didn't allow a single run against Seminole, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Sarasota to a 10-0 victory on Thursday. Sarasota secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning. Sarasota's big bats were led by Kyle Manitz, Satchell Norman, Danny Torrealba, Conner Whittaker, and Caden Marsters, who all drove in runs. One bright spot for Seminole was a single by Monte Meyers in the third inning. Swartz led the Sarasota to victory on the mound. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out six. Aaron Deegan took the loss for Seminole. Both teams were strong on the hill on Thursday, but Cardinal Mooney was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Sarasota on Thursday. Tanner Crump started the game for Sarasota and recorded 12 outs. Sarasota lost despite out-hitting Cardinal Mooney eight to four. Sarasota opened up scoring in the first inning, when Tyler Maszak grounded out, scoring one run. Nelson got the start for Cardinal Mooney. Sarasota built a five-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Manatee's charge for a 5-3 victory on Wednesday. Manatee scored two runs in the failed comeback. John Van Etten and Devin Calderon fueled the rally with RBIs. Sarasota got things moving in the first inning. Kyle Manitz singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Garrett Browning led Sarasota to victory on the mound. The righthander surrendered three runs on six hits over five and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero. Palm Harbor University's big inning was driven by singles by Jacob Riegel and Cam Burleson and a groundout by Steven Lessard. Sarasota got things moving in the first inning. Satchell Norman singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. Sarasota tallied five runs in the second inning. The rally was led by a single by Carter Hilton, a sac fly by Caden Marsters, and an error on a ball put in play by Norman. Jaxson Crump earned the win for Sarasota.
