Sarasota Varsity v Buchholz, 16-2
Sarasota had everything working on Saturday, winning big over Buchholz 16-2.
Sarasota opened up scoring in the first inning, when Kyle Manitz singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Sarasota put up six runs in the third inning. Sarasota big bats were led by Satchell Norman, Conner Whittaker, Mario Trivella, and Chris Soeder, all driving in runs in the frame.
Bradley Ramsden pitched Sarasota to victory. The pitcher surrendered two runs on one hit over three innings. Manitz and Bradon Jung entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Caden Kresak took the loss for Buchholz. Kresak surrendered ten runs on ten hits over one inning, walking one.
Sarasota totaled 20 hits. Manitz, Trivella, Garrett Browning, Ramsden, Danny Torrealba, and Norman all collected multiple hits for Sarasota. Ramsden, Browning, Trivella, and Manitz each collected three hits to lead Sarasota.
